Crown Castle (CCI) Surpasses Q2 FFO and Revenue Estimates

Crown Castle (CCI) came out with quarterly funds from operations (FFO) of $1.48 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.43 per share. This compares to FFO of $1.31 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an FFO surprise of 3.50%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this operator of wireless communications towers would post FFO of $1.43 per share when it actually produced FFO of $1.45, delivering a surprise of 1.40%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus FFO estimates three times.

Crown Castle, which belongs to the Zacks REIT and Equity Trust - Other industry, posted revenues of $1.48 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3.58%. This compares to year-ago revenues of $1.33 billion.
