Der Elektroautobauer ging erst vergangene Woche an die Börse und produziert noch kaum Fahrzeuge. Viele Experten halten die Aktie für überbewertet.

Positiv:
The good news for Rivian is that for the time being it won't have to worry about demand issues. As of Dec. 15, the company had approximately 71,000 pre-orders for R1 vehicles in the US and Canada, up about 50% from the 48,000 figure detailed at the end of Q3. Management also noted that it has seen accelerated growth in the daily number of pre-orders due to all the media attention received surrounding the IPO as well as positive coverage of its vehicles. It's this strong and growing early demand base, along with support from Amazon (AMZN) for 100,000 electric delivery vans, that has analysts seeing major potential in Rivian as evidenced by pre-Q3 earnings report revenue estimates seen below.
Mal sehen wo sich der Wert stabilisiert, sollte nichts grobes passieren und die Qualität halbwegs passen, ist da mittel- bis langfristig auf jeden Fall Potential vorhanden.

Billionaire investor George Soros bought nearly 20 million shares of electric truck startup Rivian Automotive Inc (RIVN.O) in the quarter ended Dec. 31, securities filings showed Friday.
The 19,835,761 shares, worth about $2 billion at the time, makes Soros Fund Management among the most prominent investors in the company. Rivian, which is 20% owned by Amazon.com Inc , is expected to provide the e-commerce company with more than 100,000 electric trucks.
Irvine, California-based Rivian said in December it expected production to fall "a few hundred vehicles short" of its 2021 target of 1,200 due to supply chain constraints, highlighting the likely challenges in ramping up production to take on EV leader Tesla Inc (TSLA.O).
Shares of Rivian fell 9% Friday and are down 43% for the year to date. The stock price is down 67% from the high of $179.46 it touched on Nov. 16, less than a week after it raised $12 billion in the largest stock debut of 2021.
Für mich ist es auf jeden Fall noch zu früh, ich denke nicht das der Boden schon gefunden ist und schau mal von der Seite zu. In einem Monat gibts die nächsten Zahlen, mal sehen ob sie die Produktion bis dahin im Griff haben.

Rückschlag für Rivian
Schwere Verluste verbuchte die Aktie von Rivian. Der Elektroautoanbieter muss rund 13.000 Fahrzeuge wegen einer losen Halterung zurückrufen, die zu einem Ausfall der Lenkung führen kann. Das sind fast alle bisher ausgelieferten Fahrzeuge des Tesla-Rivalen.
