Die marktbreiten Indizes (S&P 500, Nasdaq Comp., NYSE Comp. und Russell 2000) haben die Woche sehr stark zwischen 2,39 % und + 4,17 % geschlossen.

Die Indizes S&P 500, Nasdaq Comp., NYSE Comp. konnten im Wochenverlauf den langfristigen 200-Tage-Durchschnitt nach oben bezwingen. Der Russell 2000 hat diesen noch vor sich.

Der S&P 500 hat noch den Key-Level von 2.800 Punkten zu knacken, der Nasdaq Composite den Key-Level bei 7.500 Punkten.

Die Handelsumsätze an der Nasdaq waren geringer als in der Vorwoche, die Handelsumsätze an der NYSE höher als in der Vorwoche. An beiden Handelsplätzen lagen die Umsätze auf Wochenbasis unter dem Durchschnitt.

Alle genannten Indizes konnten auf Wochenbasis erneut höhere Hoch und höhere Tiefs erreichen, d.h. der Aufwärtstrend ist weiter intakt.

Der Volatilitätsindex (VIX) der CBOE (Chicago Board Options Exchange) (oder auch Angstindex genannt) liegt aktuell komfortabel bei 14,91 und somit deutlich unter dem Alarm-Wert von 20: ????

Die Rendite der 10-jährigen US-Anleihen haben um 1,29 % zugelegt und liegen bei 2,67 % und somit weiter unter der 3 % - Schwelle: ????

Das Markt-Sentiment für den US-Markt ist zu einem großen Teil neutral, gefolgt von bullish und mit deutlichem Abstand baerish - siehe auch Grafik.

Die marktbreiten Indizes (S&P 500, Nasdaq Comp., NYSE Comp. und Russell 2000) haben die Woche zwischen + 0,62 % und + 1,33 % höher geschlossen.

Die Indizes S&P 500, Nasdaq Comp., NYSE Comp. notieren weiterhin über dem langfristigen 200-Tage-Durchschnitt. Der Russell 2000 hat diese Woche diesen langfristigen Level auch nach oben durchbrochen, allerdings nur sehr knapp. Für alle Indizes gilt es nun, die 200-Tagelinie weiter hinter sich zu lassen.

Der S&P 500 hat noch den Key-Level von 2.800 Punkten zu knacken, der Nasdaq Composite konnte den Key-Level bei 7.500 Punkten im Wochenverlauf knapp hinter sich lassen. Der Russell 2000 nimmt nun Anlauf auf die 1.600-Marke.

Die Handelsumsätze an der Nasdaq und der NYSE waren geringer als in der Vorwoche. An beiden Handelsplätzen lagen die Umsätze auf Wochenbasis ebenfalls unter dem Durchschnitt. Die letzte Handelswoche hatte allerdings auch nur 4 Handelstage.

Alle genannten Indizes konnten auf Wochenbasis erneut höhere Hochs und höhere Tiefs erreichen, d.h. der Aufwärtstrend ist weiter intakt. Die leichten Anstiege in dieser Woche in Verbindung mit dem unterdurchschnittlichen Umsatz ist nach dem seit Ende Dezember anhaltenden steilen Anstieg durchaus positiv, da sonst Gefahr eines überkauften Marktes besteht.

The S&P 500 just closed above a key level at 2,800 for the first time in 16 weeks

U.S. stocks closed sharply higher Friday to kick off trading in March on a positive note. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.43% climbed 110 points, or 0.4%, to 26,026, but failing to mark its 10th consecutive weekly gain, which would have matched its longest streak of weekly wins since 1995. The S&P 500 index SPX, +0.69% advanced 0.7% to 2,804, marking its first close above the psychologically significant level since Nov. 8. That level has proved a key point of resistance over the past several trading sessions. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, +0.83% climbed 0.8% to 7,595.
