Activision Blizzard shares slump Friday after the video game company famous for its 'Call of Duty' franchise said it would be splitting with design and development partner Bungie.

Activision Blizzard Inc. (ATVI - Get Report) shares tumbled Friday after the video game company famous for its 'Call of Duty' franchise said it would be splitting with design and development partner Bungie.

Bungie will take full control of the Destiny game franschise -- once the most successful of all time --  following the split, with Activision citing an inability to meet targets for return on investment on an earlier earnings conference call. Activision had paid royalties for Destiny, and partly subsidized its development, as part of a reported ten year contract.

Activision Blizzard expects first-quarter earnings per share of 20 cents per share — less than half what Wall Street was looking for — on revenue of $1.18 billion. Refinitiv consensus estimates projected EPS of 46 cents per share on revenue of $1.45 billion for Q1 2019.

The company expects full-year 2019 guidance of $2.10 per share on $6.30 billion in revenue, compared with analyst estimates of $2.54 per share on $7.25 billion in revenue, according to Refinitiv.

Activision Blizzard sieht ganz interessant aus für einen Rebound. Ist gestern vom unteren BB abgeprallt und will sich nach oben hin zur 50 bewegen. Den sehr steil abfallenden SMA200 wird die Aktie aber nicht beim ersten Versuch knacken.

Lege ich mir heute Nachmittag ins Depot, abgesichert mit einem engen Stop.

Da demnächst das nächste Call of Duty erscheint, könnte der im Artikel angesprochene Ausbruch durchaus gelingen. Auf der anderen Seite ist das wahrscheinlich schon eingepreist.

Gute Anmerkung.

Jedoch habe ich in all den Jahren so viele Überraschungen erlebt, wenn ich an eine Sache nun gar nicht glaube und nicht vertraue, dann ist es der Punkt mit dem sogenannten alleseingepreist.
