Dow slumps, Nasdaq ends near record as investors digest Fed policy outlook
Stocks posted a mixed finish Thursday as investors continued to digest the previous day's change in the Fed's outlook for interest rates and inflation. The Nasdaq Composite ended with a gain of around 122 points, up 0.9%, near 14,161, after trading above Monday's record close at 14,174.14.
