Chevron tops profit estimates in latest quarter
Chevron Corp. CVX, +3.00% said Friday it had net income of $3.7 billion, or $1.95 a share, in the fourth quarter, up from $3.1 billion, or $1.64 a share, in the year-earlier period. Revenue rose to $42.4 billion from $37.6 billion. The FactSet consensus was for EPS of $1.87 and revenue of $42.5 billion.
