Estée Lauder said adjusted earnings for the three months ending in December, the company's fiscal second quarter, came in at $1.55 per share, up nearly 25% from the same period last year and matching the Street consensus forecast. Group net sales, the luxury goods brand said, rose 7% to $4.01 billion, topping the consensus forecast of $3.9 billion.
Looking ahead, Estee Lauder said it sees full-year earnings in the range of $4.92 to $5.00 a shares, with sales rising between 5% and 6% from the prior year period.
