GE's stock surges into bull-market territory, for 2nd time in about 2 months
Shares of General Electric Co. GE, +6.34% soared 6.9% toward a 7-week high in afternoon trade Wednesday, as the bounce off last month's 9 1/2-year low has propelled them into bull-market territory. Since closing Dec. 12 at $6.71, the lowest level since it bottomed at $6.66 on March 5, 2009, the stock has now run up 20.6%.
