KLA-Tencor: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot
MILPITAS, Calif. (AP) _ KLA-Tencor Corp. (KLAC) on Monday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $192.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Milpitas, California-based company said it had net income of $1.23. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.80 per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.63 per share.
The maker of equipment for manufacturing semiconductors posted revenue of $1.1 billion in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.07 billion.
