The company reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $239 million, or 93 cents a share, compared with losses of $12 million, or 5 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted for changes in U.S. tax law, among other things, earnings were 92 cents a share, compared with 65 cents a share in the year-ago quarter. Revenue rose to $800 million from $746 million in the year-ago period.

The company reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $244.6 million, or 95 cents a share, compared with $145.5 million, or 56 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted for items such as acquisition-related costs and the effects due to changes to the U.S. tax code, earnings were 94 cents a share. Revenue rose to $828.4 million from $638.2 million in the year-ago period. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated earnings of 94 cents a share on revenue of $826 million.
