Calvin Klein parent PVH raises outlook, announces NYC flagship store closure

PVH Corp. PVH, +6.10% said late Thursday it expects fourth-quarter revenue of "at least" $2.4 billion and full-year 2018 revenue of $9.6 billion, above its prior expectations. The company said it can't project GAAP fourth quarter and full-year 2018 earnings per share at this time, but projected adjusted EPS of at least $1.75 for the quarter, 15 cents above the high end of its guidance range announced in November. Adjusted EPS for the year is seen around $9.50, the company said.

Shares of PVH soar after the apparel company beats Wall Street's fourth-quarter earnings and sales expectations.

The New York based company said it earned $158 million, or $2.09 a share, in the quarter, up from $109 million, or $1.39 a share, a year ago. Adjusted earnings came to $1.84 a share, compared with $1.58 a share a year ago, and beat analysts' forecasts of $1.76 a share. Revenue slipped 1% to $2.5 billion but was ahead of expectations of $2.4 billion.
