Fractional Trading for US and European Shares

Fractional trading lets you purchase as little as USD 1 of almost any available US or European stock, experiment with trading and investing without committing substantial sums of money or learn about building and rebalancing diversified portfolios.
You can request permission for fractional trading of stock orders by logging in to Client Portal and selecting the User Profile > Settings > Trading Permission menu item. Under stocks, click "Add" and then “Global (Trade in Fractions)", then Save to enable.
Once enabled, you can trade fractional shares from our IBKR Mobile, IBKR GlobalTrader, IMPACT App, Client Portal or Trader Workstation (TWS) trading platforms. When placing an order, simply tap or click the quantity field to show the size wand, use the toggle to switch between dollars or fractional share quantity and enter the quantity for your order.
