Die Mengen sind überschaubar, für die Opec-Staaten ist es jedoch ein wichtiges Signal: Moskau will die vereinbarten Förderkürzungen bereits ab kommenden Monat umsetzen. Die Maßnahme soll dazu beitragen, den Ölpreis vor dem Absturz zu bewahren.

Oil prices move higher as Libyan production suffers outage

Oil futures moved up Tuesday from the roughly one-week lows scored a day earlier as the market continued to weigh the efficacy of an OPEC-plus production cut and as a short-term production disruption in Libya proved supportive to prices.

Libya’s national oil company has declared force majeure on exports from its El Sharara field after a weekend militia attack on the facility, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The price weakness seen on Monday was “all the more surprising given that just short of 400,000 barrels per day of Libyan oil are currently missing because production has been interrupted at Libya’s largest oil field,” Commerzbank analysts said in a note Tuesday.

Oil settles sharply higher after report the Saudis plan to cut shipments to U.S. refiners

U.S. oil futures saw a sharp move higher late in Thursday’s trading session to finish nearly 3% higher. Saudi Arabia plans to slash shipments to U.S. refiners within weeks to help prevent a buildup of American crude stockpiles, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

Ölpreise geben nach

Die Ölpreise sind gesunken. Ein Barrel (159 Liter) der Nordseesorte Brent kostete am Morgen 60,95 US-Dollar. Das waren 50 Cent weniger als am Vortag. Der Preis für amerikanisches Rohöl der Sorte West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fiel um 31 Cent auf 52,27 Dollar.

Oil ends lower for the week; natural gas sees biggest weekly plunge since 2016

Oil prices fell on Friday, settling lower for the week, as a stronger dollar cut global demand for U.S.-priced commodities and a slide for the stock market sullied the risk-taking mood.

On Friday, West Texas Intermediate crude for January delivery CLF9, -2.74% fell $1.38, or 2.6%, to settle at $51.20 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract was down 2.7% for the week.

Global benchmark February Brent crude LCOG9, -2.05%  fell $1.17, or 1.9%, to $60.28 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe, down about 2.3% for the week.

In its closely watched monthly oil market report, the International Energy Agency said Thursday that crude output by OPEC rose by 100,000 barrels a day on month to reach 33.03 million barrels a day in November. Saudi Arabia — the de facto head of OPEC — churned out 410,000 barrels a day to a historic high of 11.06 million barrels a day.

Oil futures end lower, with U.S. prices at their lowest in over a year

Oil futures fell on Monday, with U.S. prices settling at their lowest since early October 2017. Data from Genscape reportedly revealed a jump in crude stocks at the U.S. storage hub last week, raising concerns that a government report due Wednesday will confirm a large inventory increase at the hub in Cushing, Okla. A report from the Energy Information Administration also forecast another monthly climb in U.S. shale oil production, with January output expected to rise by 134,000 barrels a day.

in Süddeutschland bezahlt man immer noch Spritpreise wie wenn der Rohölpreis bei 70 stehen würde

wir sind im tief beim diesel bei 1,23....

sieht so aus als ob wir ein 2014-16 reloaded kriegen. CL Jan19- Jan20 Future mittlerweile fast 5$ Spread. Kann mich noch erinnern Anfang 2016 als Öl bei 20$ war gab es den Diesel hier bei 89 cent, da standen die Leute mit ihren 20L Kanistern an (der Contango Trade des kleinen Mannes  )
