V.F. Corporation VFC posted strong third-quarter fiscal 2019 results, wherein both the top and bottom lines surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate and improved year over year. With this, the company delivered its sixth bottom-line beat in the last seven quarters.

The company’s adjusted earnings per share of $1.31 from continuing operations improved 30% year over year, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.09. Earnings included 1 percentage point contribution from acquisitions, net of divestitures. On a constant-dollar basis, adjusted earnings rose 31%.
 
V.F. Corp generated net revenues of $3,940.2 million, which increased about 8% year over year and surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3,874 million. Constant-dollar revenues jumped 10%.

Wer hält denn hier noch vfc und was macht ihr mit den neuen shares aus dem spinoff? Ich überlege, diese morgen früh (wenn die dann schon eingebucht sind) im direkthandel, d.h. Vor öffnen der US Börse zu verkaufen.

Hat sich jemand den Teil näher angeschaut? Für mich sieht das Verhältnis Umsatz/Schulden schlechter aus als bei vfc selbst und das Jeans Business hatte mich sowieso nie gereizt an vfc.

V.F. Corporation VFC has posted strong fourth-quarter fiscal 2019 results, wherein the top and bottom lines surpassed estimates and improved year over year. With this, it delivered the seventh top and bottom-line beat in the last eight quarters.

Despite the robust fiscal fourth-quarter results, shares of the company dropped 5.8% during pre-market trading. Analysts attributed the decline in shares to the completion of the Kontoor Brands spin-off. Additionally, the company’s forecasts for fiscal 2020 were below analysts’ expectations.

Q1'FY23 Finanzielle Höhepunkte
- Umsatz von 2,3 Milliarden US-Dollar, ein Plus von 3 % (7 % in konstanten Dollars), wobei die vier großen Marken um 2 % (6 % in konstanten Dollars) und das übrige Portfolio um 9 % (16 % in konstanten Dollars) zulegten
- The North Face® Umsatz $0,5 Milliarden, plus 31% (plus 37% bei konstanten Dollars)
- Vans® Umsatz $0,9 Mrd., minus 7% (minus 4% bei konstanten Dollarkursen)
- Bruttomarge 53,9%, minus 260 Basispunkte; bereinigte Bruttomarge 54,1%, minus 260 Basispunkte
- Operative Marge 2,8%, minus 640 Basispunkte; bereinigte operative Marge 3,4%, minus 340 Basispunkte
- Gewinn (Verlust) pro Aktie (EPS) $(0,14), minus 137%; bereinigter EPS $0,09, minus 68%
- Rückzahlung von 194 Millionen US-Dollar an die Aktionäre durch Bardividenden
Finanzieller Ausblick für GJ23
- VF behält seinen währungsbereinigten Ausblick für das GJ23 bei, während der Gewinnausblick auf berichteter Dollarbasis revidiert wird, um die anhaltenden negativen Auswirkungen von Währungsschwankungen zu berücksichtigen; wir erwarten nun ein bereinigtes EPS von 3,05 bis 3,15 US-Dollar, was einem Wachstum von 4 bis 7 % gegenüber dem Vorjahr auf konstanter Dollarbasis entspricht
- Anstieg des VF-Gesamtumsatzes um mindestens 7 % bei konstanten Dollarkursen, unverändert gegenüber dem vorherigen Ausblick
- Die bereinigte Bruttomarge steigt leicht gegenüber dem vorherigen Ausblick um etwa 50 Basispunkte.
- Bereinigte operative Marge von ca. 13,2 % gegenüber dem vorherigen Ausblick von ca. 13,6
- Bereinigter operativer Cashflow von ca. 1,2 Milliarden US-Dollar; Investitionsausgaben von ca. 250 Millionen US-Dollar, beide unverändert gegenüber dem vorherigen Ausblick
- Ausgenommen sind die Auswirkungen einer von VF für das GJ23 erwarteten Zahlung in Höhe von etwa 857 Millionen US-Dollar sowie zusätzliche aufgelaufene Zinsen im Zusammenhang mit einer Veranlagung durch den Internal Revenue Service (IRS) für den Streit über den Zeitpunkt der Einkommensanrechnung im Zusammenhang mit der Übernahme von Timberland durch VF im Jahr 2011, wie bereits bekannt gegeben
- Der Ausblick von VF für das GJ23 geht von folgenden Annahmen aus:
